Bomb in the Hotel Ritz Carlton and JW Marriot Hotel Jakarta Indonesia July 2009

Friday morning on 17 July 2009 at around 07.40 explode Bom at 2-hotel complex in the Mega Kuningan, Jakarta, Indonesia Hotel JW Marriott and Ritz-Carlton. Dozens of bomb victims Bom Ritz Carlton and JW Marriot was a hospital in Jakarta Sudirman street, and some referred to the MMC Hospital and RSPP.
Until now, the victim stated the explosion of 9 people killed, while dozens of injured. 9 victims who were killed in two different locations. 7 of the victims died in the JW Marriot, while 2 other people died in the Ritz Carlton. While one person died is brought to the hospital Medistra. Among the victims of 9, the President Director of PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk (SMCB), Timothy Mackay participate and become a victim is killed due to bomb. According to one public relations SMCB, Tim is in the JW Marriot to make a breakfast meeting.

Shortly after the bomb explosion occurred at the Hotel Ritz Carlton Hotel and JW Marriot to access area entrance is closed Mega Kuningan total. The Police maintain strict all entrances to the area and is only open access to ambulan and employees around the location.
Coordinating Minister Widodo AS Polkam came to the JW Marriot hotel at around 9 am before the bombs explode and have a high power explosion. "This type high explosive," said Widodo AS. According to Widodo, an explosion occurred twice. First, there was in the lobby the hotel JW Marriot at 07.45 WIB and the Ritz Carlton at 07.47 WIB.

According to Emergency Hospital Binsar Ompusunggu Jakarta, Jakarta hospital until 10:00 WIB receive 11 victims of explosion, two foreign citizens from Canada and the U.S.. One of Canada referred to as RSPP ang severe burns should be intensively. Two broken bones are currently being treated in hospital Jakarta. The remaining injured are treated and are in excellent condition. Tenth of the victims, two of which are citizens of foreign Thielsen Edward and David Fotter. Meanwhile, the rest is a citizen of Indonesia (WNI), among others, Dewi Lestari, and Rini Saffan.
